Ko - Ko are a newly formed A Cappella group of five, bringing lush harmonies and soulful renditions of their favourite music to Perth and beyond. Its five members are all trained in Jazz vocals and improvisation but explore everything and anything in between. From Gospel to Jazz, expect to hear powerhouse vocals and intimate arrangements.

The Spirit of the Streets choir was founded by Bernard and Eleanor Carney and has become a Perth institution, giving voice to the vulnerable and marginalised in our community, by creating a family atmosphere through singing, performing and social inclusion. They are in their 11th year and their performances are inspirational and uplifting.

The Merry Din 7 were formed to present at the Merredin Songfest. Members are stalwarts of other Perth choirs who are prepared to be vulnerable and carry a part alone. We sing mostly pop and folk, with a little gospel and classical. Who knows where our musical journey may take us?

The Joys of the Women Italian Choir was formed in 1990 by a group of ladies who were encouraged to come together to share the traditional folk songs from their particular region in Italy and to pass on these folk songs to their families and the wider community.

Tuxedo Junction Vocal Ensemble have been singing for 30 years. During this time they have performed widely around Perth, developing a reputation for high quality performances. Their Musical Director is WAAPA-trained musician Simone Bishop, conducting Tuxedo Junction in both a capella and accompanied music. Tuxedo Junction comprises 20 singers, singing in 4-part close harmony. Musical styles include classical, folk, renaissance, jazz, pop, rock, Broadway, and choral standards. They will be performing a selection of beautiful songs from many of these musical styles.

No Rechoirments are an a capella choir that tackles all sorts of music-from Talis, to Gospel, to Billy Joel. After debuting in Dunsborough last year, this Perth based group have fast become regulars on the WA choral scene, and they are excited to bring their unique flavour to Guildford. They enjoy helping people to find and nurture their desire to sing, while having fun (and a bit of tea and cake).

Beverley Station Singers are a small group who hail from rural Western Australia. Under the leadership of Kelly Newton-Wordsworth, he choir is made up of farmers, teachers, business people, housewives and mothers who come from as far as Margaret River, to Williams, Brookton, Pingelly and Beverley. We hope to bring joy and smiles to those around us, by involving everyone in our performances and singing well known and loved songs.

A Cappella West as the name suggests, are an a cappella chorus who are the 2018 National Sweet Adeline champions and will be representing Australia in New Orleans in 2019. Although we sing barbershop arrangements for competitions we have a wide repertoire and sing in a variety of genres. Our performances are always engaging and we love to perform. Peppermint is an auditioned choir that sings an eclectic range of songs in 4 to 8 part harmony. We sing mostly a Capella, and sometimes call on the diverse musical skills of our choir members to bring extra sparkle to our songs with instruments and percussion. The Irish Choir Perth is a community choir open to anyone with a love of contemporary and traditional Irish music. This Choir is relatively new - it was set up in June 2017, and the direction and song choices are always evolving. The repertoire to date ranges from 'Zombie' by The Cranberries, to Christy Moore's 'Ride on' and traditional favourites like 'She Moves Through the Fair'.

Akappella Munda is a community oriented group which has developed a spirit and sound which is warming, has developed a musical bite with a new and energetic range of material from around the world, some of which has been challenging and different. An out-of-the-mold but very versatile a cappella community choir, Akappella Munda sing a broad and very strange selection of music; vocal folk/rock and blues/gospel to the ‘pop’ music of the 16th Century. They love collaborations, especially with the beloved Black Chooks, as you may have seen at last year's festival.

A Choired Taste is a dynamic, vibrant music institution in Merredin, catering for a wide variety of musical taste including musicals, popular, country, jazz, soul and a capella. The choir formed in 2008 and has also appeared at the Desert Heart SongFest in Kalgoorlie in 2015 and 2017, and organised the Merredin SongFest in May 2018.

Janet Augustinsen started singing as a little girl playing in the garden imitating Joan Sutherland and she hasn't stopped since. Training in Sydney in the lost art of Bel Canto under world renowned baritone John Davies. She has sung in most states, toured with the octect "The promise", sung with choirs in Sydney Opera House and more recently performs regularly with Hills Symphony Orchestra. Janet's gentle demeanour hides a glorious surprise as you enjoy her stunning soprano voice.

Take Note is a group of women with attitude who got together to sing Popular and World music when their children were pupils at a local primary school. Seventeen years on, they are a close-knit group whose love of harmonising together in song comes a close second to having a laugh together.
