Influenced by artists such as the Idea of North, The King’s Singers and Bobby McFerrin, Ko-Ko performs a varied range of music, sure to delight and excite.

The Spirit of the Streets choir are a self proclaimed rough and ready crew, giving voice to the vulnerable and marginalised in our community, being openly inclusive to all comers and creating a family atmosphere through singing and performing. They have ridden the Covid cutbacks into their 14th year and continue to perform at all levels of the community from soup kitchens to concert halls. Joy is their middle name

The Real Sing is a friendly bunch of a cappella singers led by Coralie Kan, who work hard and play even harder. Their repertoire is a mix of our contemporary favourites, as well as all the best songs from the 70s and 80s which are able to be put into 4 (and sometimes 8) part harmony

The Joys of the Women Italian Choir was formed in 1990 by a group of ladies who were encouraged to come together to share the traditional folk songs from their particular region in Italy and to pass on these folk songs to their families and the wider community.

The South African Gospel Singers are a multi Cultural singing Group who sing mainly African and English Gospel songs with dance moves! Their Conductor is Sylva Bright from the Cameroons and their Drummer is Alastair van Schoor from Cape Town South Africa.

Quorum Chamber Singers is a 12 voice ensemble. Their repertoire ranges from the 15th century through to 21st century. They formally came together as an ensemble at the beginning of 2019 with the joining of voices from existing and well known local ensembles and some undiscovered talent, now under the direction of David Woods of St. Georges Consort and Giovanni Consort.

A Cappella West is a female vocal harmony chorus based in Manning, Western Australia, and founded in 2008. With 80+ members under the direction of Joanne Oosterhoff they are a highly respected, award winning choir. In April of this year they became the Barbershop Harmony Australia Chorus Champions at the SingWest A Cappella Fiesta 2021.

Men of a West are behatted behemoth of blokes singing anything from Georgian dance tunes to improbable hits. They bravely try to define the predicament of modern man by evoking pointless grandeur, poignant pathos and having some fun along the way.

The One Achord Community Choir has been providing community performances since 2003. Gillian Parker has been the Music/Choir Director for the last 10 years and continues to introduce and teach a wide range of singing techniques and repertoire for the choir, ranging from Classical and Jazz, through to Pop and Rock.

Tone Deft is an adult Show Choir based in Perth, WA, open to all cis and trans women, as well as non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centres the experiences of women. Formed in 2015, Tone Deft has gone from strength to strength, performing at venues and festivals across Perth, including sold-out appearances at Fringe World. The Swiss Yodellers of WA have been performing traditional Swiss music in Perth since 1974, and most of the group are of Swiss origin. The group has an emphasis on songs and yodels in the four Swiss languages: German, French, Italian, and the ancient Romanche dialect from eastern Switzerland.
They appear in colourful traditional costume and our vocals feature many yodels and a range of harmonies. |
The Hills Choir is a mixed voice choir, based in Mundaring. They have been making music in the Perth Hills for 35 years, and perform a wide variety of music from classical and sacred through to modern choral pieces. The Hills Choir is a community based group. New members are welcome.
